Biography

Sean has enjoyed singing for many years and has performed live on the Gerry Ryan Show on 2fm, the Sean Moncrieff show on Newstalk 106 and has made a number of TV appearances including TG4's Nollaig No.1 and Glas Vegas. He has been actively involved with a number of musical societies as a performer and director and has performed at competiton level with the CIE Male Voice Choir. In 2008 he represented Ireland in the World Karaoke Championships in Finland and was placed 4th in the world, behind Australia, U.K. and Sweden.

 

Services

Sean performs live to professional backing tracks but at a non-intrusive level which allows people to tune in and out as they wish, tapping their feet or swaying along with the music, often without realising they are doing so! Always dressed in blacktie formal wear and using a vintage style microphone, Sean's attention to detail puts the finishing touches to this timeless style, which is then presented to you and your guests as an audio backdrop rather than a focal point.  

 

Flexibility

The low-key approach Sean adopts is ideally suited to any occasion where invited guests may mix and mingle before the “Main Event”, such as:

 • Corporate

 • Fundraising dinners, auctions etc

 • Award ceremonies

 • Fashion shows

 • Product launches

Another popular variation is where Sean sings soft and slow as you and your guests are dining, then when the wedding speeches or presentations etc. are completed, the live entertainment is resumed with some upbeat numbers before handing over to a professional DJ who will take you through to complete your celebrations in style.

Setlist

Beginning approx. 2 hours before you and your guests are called for your meal, Sean performs smooth, easy-listening classics from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Perry Como, Michael Bublé and many more. If there is a particular song you wish Sean to sing, perhaps as you make your entrance into the hotel lobby, please let your wishes be known and that special song will be held in reserve until your arrival. In the event of a delayed start to the meal being served, the entertainment will continue, free of charge, until all guests are called to dinner.
